I've got a question for you: Do you know the four-letter word that is killing your dreams? Think about it. No, it's not that four-letter word. No, it's not that one either. The word is busy, B-U-S-Y, busy. 

If I hear that word one more time, I think my head is going to explode. It's like some sort of badge of honor we agents wear. “Oh, I'm so busy. I'm so busy.” Guess what? I'm unimpressed. Unimpressed with you being busy, and I want you to be unimpressed with anybody who says they're busy because when we're busy, when we're just in motion, that does not mean we're in achievement. That does not mean we're productive. That's the word I'm interested in hearing from you. 

"Busy doesn’t mean we’re productive."

Are you productive? What's the big difference? When I look at my own life and I feel like I'm just busy, that usually means I'm on some sort of hamster wheel. Can you relate to that? You don't even know if you’re getting ahead. You’re just doing the motions, right? But when you're productive, that is a result of you having priorities. This is the number one thing you can do for your business to make more money and help your dreams come true. 

Get real clarity on what you want, find out exactly what path will get you there, prioritize those activities, and say no to everything else. Saying “yes” to this and “yes” to that might make you feel good, but we've got to make sure this aligns with what you want. When you say “yes” to things, you are saying “no” to other things.

This is why you're just busy: You're just saying “yes” all the time. When you say “yes” to something, you are 100% saying “no” to something else. What are you saying “no” to? It's probably your goal.

So let's see if you can get real clarity this week, hone in on only the most important activities that will get you there, and start saying “no” and stop being busy.
